OVERVIEW

Suwilanji is an Associate in the Corporate, Commercial and Finance Department, having recently joined the firm from Corpus Legal Practitioners. She advises on corporate and commercial transactions, with a particular focus on energy and infrastructure projects and project development advisory work.

She has advised both local and international clients on power generation projects, transmission infrastructure, project structuring, and transactional matters within Zambia’s energy sector. Her experience includes work on thermal, solar, and hydropower projects, as well as project agreements, acquisitions, equity investments, and operational restructuring.

Suwilanji also advises sponsors, developers, lenders, and corporate entities on the legal and regulatory aspects of energy and infrastructure projects, including project development agreements, power purchase arrangements, corporate structuring, and transaction implementation.

In addition, she has experience advising on complex transactions across the energy, mining, infrastructure, and real estate sectors. Her work includes guiding clients through environmental and regulatory compliance matters and supporting both private sector stakeholders and public institutions on a range of strategic legal issues.
She is a member of the Law Association of Zambia.
